Cosplay Photography Fun!

So being a portrait photographer, I'm an addict for creating awesome and fun cosplay portraits with the creative adult community! I don't cosplay or dress up myself but getting together with someone and bringing their characters to life is a magical thing!

Ive done many creative photoshoots so far ranging from well known characters in the comic or anime or movie spectrum. I've even done some work with people where we just created something specifically for the photoshoot where it didn't come from anything specific. It was just pure creativity!

Sometimes I keep it fairly natural with my edits and sometimes I go all out for those particular clients that want more of manipulated world with their characters that they can look at and just disappear into the images.

Below are a few images from clients and models that I've worked with and descriptions of the characters!

This photoshoot was with Rebecca and Raph and their cosplay of Millennium Earl from D.Grey-man and Road Kamelot. This one was interesting as it was raining and wet the entire photoshoot. We made it work though and in some images you're able to see the rain drops. We have more photoshoots in the works that they are bringing me in on to help bring to life as well and I cannot wait!

This is from a set with Patience and her Sub-Zero cosplay! we got together at a park with a pretty coastal trail for her session and the fall colors outside didn't seem to give her that lifelike realism to her images as if they came out of a movie. So I did some composite work and changed up some backgrounds, added some special effects to some and helped give her some variety! This was a blast to put together and her next one up may be Scporpion, also from Mortal Kombat!

This set was shot at an abandoned house in town here that's been there for many years. Run down, falling apart, dirty, all for the makings of a creepy and fun haunted doll photoshoot! Alexis here did her makeup as a doll and then I went in and added some extra cracks in her skin to add more of that cracked look. We work together a lot and have plenty to share!

This is from a fun set up in Fairbanks where I worked with Morgan here to help bring to life our rendition of Wednesday Adam's more upbeat and crazy cousin. We don't have a name for her just yet but that's part of the fun of cosplay and creative photoshoots, anything can be whatever you want.

If any of this looks fun to you and you'd like to bring your creative ideas to life, book your creative adventure and lets create magic together!
